Stronger anti-cheating system
We have encountered a great increase in cases of cheating, therefore it is both with gladness and sadness to inform everyone that we have implemented strong anti-cheating systems into the game. All players are not suppose to attack or use artifacts on anyone on the same IP (proxy, office, cybercafe) or the same PC. The reason why we dont allow this, is because it is relatively easy to cheat, and the fine line between cheating and not-cheating is rather blue. Yes, we have a lot of problems trying to figure out, who is wrong and right therefore implementation of such system saves everyone the headaches and time. From this point on, almost no one will get temporary suspended for investigation due to this issue.
However please be informed that very stern action will be taken against you, if you are caught trying to by pass this system to cheat. I personally hope everyone will understand that this is actually a to ensure your account will never be tagged by our system for cheating. Trying to by pass this system to cheat will clearly prove you are knowingly cheating.
Removal of Moderators feature in the Game
We expect to solve almost all current cheating problems with this, so we are going to remove the Moderator feature in the game. All moderators which previously hold the responsibility for searching and finding cheaters. Please be assured that we are not retrenching the moderators. I personally always believe the computer should do all the work for us, this will save all the moderators time to have fun with the game, and to enjoy talking to other players as Guides. Yes, let the computer do the mundane stuff and let the humans do more enjoyable stuff, yes ?
Also dont get me wrong, now all this new Guides will still have the ability to silence you, so please continue to behave on the chat. To all the moderators, thank you very much for helping us find and catch the cheaters. Also thanks to all your ideas, inclusive of all the other admins to come out with such ways to fix the cheating problems at the root of the problem.
