my sitter* is taking the day off, so i gotta have to take care of my kid. i`ll be taking the day off.
*for those who dont know who is my sitter, my sitter is actually pooh`s family members which they are helping us out by taking of my 4 month baby (or is it 5 month, dang i cant remember)

I am finally back, and i am sick ! gah ! this could be because i only got 2 hours sleep on the 15th morning before i started my journey, i got yelled at by pooh for this.
i estimate it would take another 1-2 days to organize the junk and to finish moving stuff to the new pc (i am currently using pooh`s pc). i will try to look into getting an air conditioning to avoid such frequent computer breakdowns due to overheating over on my end. i may have ended up being half cooked over here as well due to the high heat.
Oh yeah i`ve found out that my bank has suspended my credit card cause it was wayyy over the limit. haha... they gave me until 8th of next month to settle the card :(

I went down to the capital early in the morning on 2005-09-15, got tons of supplies that includes: 1 mouse, 2 keyboard, 2 ultra-ata hdd cable, 2 large fan*, 2 small fan*, 3 network cables, 1 software license**, 1 dvd writer (havent bought the dvd-rws though to ensure i wont lose any data in the future), and other misc stuff.
bad news, my computer parts was melted (overheated), so the computer shop guy didnt want to replace them. eventually it took me 2 days to finally decide to get a new pc.
I would like to personally thank many players who have donated to help support me to get a replacement for my pc

More bad news, things arent going as good as it should. data recovered from the died-ed pc is about 20% corrupted. i gave up on trying to recover the data, cause i would estimate it would take 2 weeks to recover using dos. due to this i have lost almost all my work on gc 1.07 (gc update is gonna get delayed by a lot) and all new work on uc (all bug fixes, adjustments & updates in the last 1.5 week). to top things up, i also lost all my configuration files so it will take up to 20th of sept before the development server is 100% up again. i manage to scrap together a temporary development server (development server is used for fixing bugs, new features, adjustments, testing and all coding related stuff on our end) to fix minor issues bugs on uc.
i was working round the clock for the past couple of days trying to recover the data on 1 pc while installing everything on another pc (in case i couldnt recover it which sadly is the case). it sure took a very long time to re-download & install all the stuff, those players who is wondering why it is taking so long, imagine installing a replicate of gc & uc server (something which takes 1 week to install & configure), the imagine trying to replicate the server on windows xp home instead of windows 2000. the fact that the development server is heavily customized (server settings & development tools) does make things worst :(
Now the good news is, i manage to recover info & stephen email, but could not save any attachments. so anyone who have sent attachment emails to me, plz resend them.
my pc is still dead, and i`ve got my schedule for my trip to the capital. i gotta baby sit on 12th & 13th, leaving 14th to 17th, that should give me sufficient time to stock up on much needed parts. i have to seriously look into getting an air con to cool down this place as computers are breaking down left and right due to the high temperature.
i know it may be difficult for players, admins or guides to reach me during this time, so i hope that all players will be patient and be understanding during this period, if you have anything very urgent please sms or call me at ++60178799934. this is my cellphone, so if i am driving you may get my voice mail instead (i never turn my cellphone off except if i am very ill).
on a non-related issue, i have lost a majority of all my manga collection that i`ve been collecting for the past 2 years (wahh !!! i feel so extremely sad... sob sob!)

I was trying to recover my data and the thing kept hanging, so I finally figured out what was wrong, the harddisk itself is overheating. So now i am using a table fan to blow directly at the harddisk, and it is currently recovering - low level surface scan, isolating bad sectors. this may take another 2 days with no grantee that the data could be recovered. i would like to say, do your part to save the environment, the heat is insanely high this few days due to global warming, reaching up to 33 degrees celcius in doors (over here). it feels like a sauna most of the time. i will away to the capital (kuala lumpur) on 14th to 17th of Sept to buy some replacement parts. I hope to get partial email up (only info[a]gamestotal.com) by tomorrow, but stephen[a]gamestotal.com may take longer, so if there is anything please email to me at info. I would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused due to my pc being down. since my pc is the main server here most work could not be done as everything depends on that machine.

My computer is still dead. I`ve got bad news, judging from the current situation i would estimate that it could take at least another 1.5 weeks (or more) before i can get 100% everything up again. i am still trying to recover the data, if recovery fails it will definately be very troublesome. i will need to drive down to the capital (kuala lumpur) to buy some replacement parts (i live in a small village, ipoh), softwares, utilities and many other stuff.

My computer broke down. I believe it got burned because it has been `heavily used` by me not to mention the hot weather (up to 33 degrees Celsius) does contribute to it getting burned. i would estimate that it will take at least 2-3 days days to sort this out. I am still trying to salvage the thing, if I fail to do so, the delay will definitely be longer.
Since I dont have my computer i will not be able to do : bug fixes, updates, replying of email & pm, or do anything at all until it is fixed. So I hope everyone who has been trying to get in touch with me via email or pm will understand and be patient. If anything urgent pops up, I can still be reached at ++60178799934 , do remember that there isnt much that I can do until i fix my Pc
Gah ! More expenses :( I feel so sad...
