Server Problems 11 August 2005
With deep regrets we encountered server problems on the starting from 1.30 PM 11th and 12 of August (Server time) lasting up to 12-15 hours. Server keep kicking out players in the GC and UC (UC game server 1 & 3). I would like to personally assure you that I have put everyone in DP as much as we can, renewing the DP every so often. Due to the nature of the problem we are unable to put up the yellow announcement to ask players to remain in DP.
Now the good news is we have a insurance policy, that is we will compensate you 2x the amount of planets if you should ever lose any planets due to server problems. To claim your insurance, please send a PM to any admin and we will compensate you.
To all paid players, we will add +3 to +6 days compensation for the inconvinience.
Everyone on non-RT server will get +5 BTC, RT will get +15 BTC (BTC gives you 100 turns).
I would like to assure you that we are working round the clock to fix this problem. We havent had such a long unscheduled server instability and outage for over 6 months plus. I on behalf of spacefed/gamestotal would like to appologize from the bottom of my heart on the inconvinience caused by this problem.
