Proposed re-balancing stuff & UC update Update: Those proposed stuff that has been agreed by players & admins and confirmed to be included in the update will be moved to the update announcement page. Viral balancing - Standardize upkeep* for reversed engineered viral ships to Ship Pr / 1.0 (cost for upkeep will go up) - Reduce extra-cost for building reversed engineered ships from +500% to +50% (since cost of upkeep is going up, build cost goes down a bit) Collective - Allow collective to reverse engineer a total of 3 ships of their choice (limited to Terran, Miner, Marauder). This is total of 3, NOT 3 from each race. - Standardize upkeep* for reversed engineered viral ships to Ship Pr / 1.0 - Cost of building reversed engineered ships +50% Note*: Pr / 1.8 means if the ship Pr is 1000, the upkeep is 1000/1.8 = 555. The lower the number (1.8) the higher the upkeep Collective New Newly proposed alternative to Collective RE (either this or RE) - Planet Changes: Similare C.2 - C.5, agriculture modifier changed to 0%, Assimilated C1 - c3, population growth changed to +75% - 3 new ships, H. Brigantine Corvette, R. Snow Cruiser, H. ManOwar Starbase. All collective ships gets small tweaks, major change = increasing the build rates. R Class can capture - Open up Similare C.5 (256 planets!) (c) GC & UC update - Reduce maximum food price cap to 10 from 15 - Disallow capture ability for all players during galactic crisis (UW countdown) (c) Honor (UC only) - x honor given per day, this means the older your empire the more points you will accumulate - honor poings is used to recruit vassals. vassals with higher planet count will cost more. - honor is also used for players to buy themself freedom (free from being a vassal) GC Ship changes G.Lictor: scanner reduces by 3500, Pr reduces by 5500. Lyth: before energy +35, kin -35, missile +35 chem -35 ; after: energy -35, kin +35, missile +35, chem -35 A.Hoko: scanner reduce to 500, hull increases 2000 M.Lakko: Weapon 800 (Energy 0, Kenetic 500, Missle 300, Chemical 0), Hull 20000, Scanning 1000, Range 11, Power 9769 Proposed to be implemented on 11th June 2005. The items of This re-balancing will change depending on feedback from players. Note: (c) = Confirmed items going for the rebalancing update. I know that it should have been done sooner, but it sure took me a long time to figure out ways of doing it (code wise, and logic). I would like to thank all players for their feedback, comments, complains and thoughts, which paved way to this re-balancing act :) I would also like to remind all players that I do personally listen to each and every player, their ideas, thoughts, comments, complains or even grunts. All the proposed items in the re-balancing is request from players or groups of players.
