Minor UC Update 07 January 2005
Note: UC update will also add in the same things as the GC update
GC update which occured at 11:00 AM 4th of Jan (server time) was successful with maximum server outage estimated at 5 seconds. This is specially to include or enchance the following features:-
Partner Program
To encourage players to introduce their friends and to help their friends in this game, we will pay you for each friend you introduce into the game. Who knows, you may even end up working for us as an introducer ?
Retrival of expired accounts
Many players who goes off on long holidays, or took a long break from the game can now come back to retrive their expired accounts. Currently all accounts expired due to inactivity (30 days) will be removed by the system. This allows players to get back their account. Only your empire details will be saved, this includes credits, your infrastructure research, technology and ability to build which ship. The rest such as planets, ships on hand, federation will not be retrive-able.
Infrastructure overhall
Major infrastructure overhall of infrastructure research and method of storing empire data. This will make the system more efficient, improve on the page loading and also to reduces memory usage on the server.
X Class Plunder (GC Only)
All races which cant explore can now plunder X Class planets
Balancing of artifacts
Due to too many Gordos in the game, we have made them rarer (ex: Rare upgraded to Unique)
